Datavideo's Intervalometer combined
with the DN-100 (see above) allows you to shoot single frame images, produce
activated or general-purpose interface (GPI) triggered segments, animations
and time-lapse videography.
The Intervalometer adds a new level
of functionality to the DN-100, enabling the effortless creation of time-lapse
and single frame animation shots using any DV camera or Analogue camcorder
(Via the DataVideo DAC-2 Analogue to
Digital Converter, or the DAC-100 on this page)
The TL-1 can be used to record in four
ways:
Programmed interval time/duration
Instant one-frame recording: just press
the SINGLE FRAME record button
Remote activation using a general purpose
interface (GPI)-trigger switch, motion or movement sensors, limit or proximity
switches
With appropriate software and interface,
recording can be computer actuated
The DataVideo
TL-1 Intervalometer is used with the DN-100 Native DV Hard Drive Recorder.
The powerful TL-1 Intervalometer adds a new level of functionality to DN-100
enabling effortless traditional time lapse images and single frame animation.
The Intervalometer
is easy to use. Just set the number of frames to record then set the time
interval between recordings (seconds, minutes, hours).
The Intervalometer
can also be externally triggered through a contact closure connection (GPI)
and attached to a wide range of switches or sensors. The Intervalometer
works effortlessly with MOCO (Motion Correction) software without the traditional
high cost and additional processing time that film requires.
The applications
are endless. Create traditional time lapse shots such as sunsets, sunrises,
plant growth, construction sites, traffic flow etc. creatively animate
the operation of machinery, maps and charts, storyboards, games, titles
etc. or anything else the assignment requires.
